How to Defeat the General the EASY way
Wait until the General approaches you then pull of one of the grab moves (B then a combo of A X or Y). It will take quite a few grab moves to defeat him, but keep repeating until he's dead. If you have earned the ground attacks then it's an idea to run up to him when he's down and jump on him to do more damage.
