Halo saga continues
The saga continues with soon to be released Halo 2, a very much anticipated sequel to the successful first install "Halo: Combat Evolved".
The storyline evolves as Master Chief, a genetically enhanced soldier continues in his quest to defeat the Covenant army as they approach the earth's parameter.
Halo 2 introduces new graphics engine
According to several sources Halo 2 brings mind-blowing realism to the
game with the introduction of a new graphic engine. Dynamic lighting and
shadowing, in conjunction with the sprawling rendered environments makes
this game a step above the rest.
Spectacular multiplayer action on Xbox LIVE rumoured
Details about the beta-test version of the title have been rumoured. Not yet confirmed - Halo 2 is to allow four players to connect to LIVE through the same Xbox. This will certainly make an impression on the enthusiastic fans and provide for some serious multiplayer action yet seen. Get your friends together and take on the rest of the world.
More landscapes, vehicles and new weapons
Just as any sequel, Halo 2 includes vaster landscapes, new more drivable
vehicles and smaller tweaks like higher jumping and ability to see your
players feet. In addition newer more exciting weapons are added to the
game, but there hasn't been an official release on the specifics.
According to sources allegedly two new weapons have been revealed from
the beta-test of the game. Beam Rifle is similar to the sniper rifle and
the Brute rifle is much like a grenade-launcher.
