The Matrix Xbox mod chip has been superceded by the Chameleon Xbox Mod Chip.
The Matrix Xbox mod chip (also known as Xodus mod chip) is bound to
become a hot item. It doesn't require wires and there is absolutely
nothing to solder. It installs in under 5 minutes and works with ALL
Xbox consoles, US/Japanese, NTSC & PAL.
 Matrix Chip is Flash upgradeable
The matrix chip is Flash upgradeable and comes with its own Flash programmer. According to the Matrix chip retailer,
the chip will be shipped unflashed (for legal reasons) and needs to be flashed with your own bios software.
This feature may also aid in making this chip future-proof. Previously, the makers of the OpenXbox/PC BioXX mod chip had claimed that due to the way
how all other Xbox Mod Chips work, the OpenXbox (PC-BioXX) is the only
Xbox mod chip solution that ensures future compatibility. It appears as if the PC-BioXX has now a very strong competitor with the Matrix mod chip.
